Images you upload: Images you upload are processed entirely server-side to remove the background. We do not store, share, or train any models on your uploaded images. All uploaded images and output files are automatically deleted immediately after processing (or within 30 minutes if not downloaded).

Usage data: We may collect anonymous usage analytics including page visits, browser type, device type, country-level location, and general usage patterns. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

Technical logs: Server logs (IP address, request timestamps, error messages) are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes only.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use minimal, essential cookies required for the service to function (e.g., session continuity). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party behavioral analytics.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect some service functionality.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS
• Uploaded images are stored with randomly generated filenames (UUID) — never using original filenames
• We enforce strict file type and size validation (max 10 MB, PNG/JPG/WebP only)
• Automatic deletion of all temporary files within 30 minutes

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may use the following third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

• Infrastructure providers for hosting and CDN services
• Anonymous analytics providers for aggregate usage statistics

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising platforms.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data

Since we do not store uploaded images or create user accounts, most deletion requests are satisfied automatically by our retention policy.

RemoveBG is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. By using RemoveBG, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
